Chapter 6

Okay. That was weird. My dream last night was a sort of introductory lesson to magic. Is this real? I still can’t get my head around it. My dream said I’m kinda any magic there has been thought up of. One day I could have a wand, the next I’ll be freezing time and then I’ll be turning into bats, whenever I want!!! Well, at least it’ll be easier going to –ah!! I just tripped, here comes the pain – what the-??? I’m flying?!?!? Crap! CRAP!!!!! Get down!!! Okay, hopefully, no one saw. Anyway, back to school. To go and tell the ‘3B’s’ about me and Evans date. How fun. Wait, the trees have stopped moving. And that bird’s stopped flying in midair. Did I somehow make time sorta freeze when I hoped no one saw? Crap, magic is so hard to understand! Well, at least I’ll get to school on-time, but how do I undo this? ARGH!!! Magic is too hard. Yes, finally. Time is normal, and I’m at school at; wow… 8.10. I have half an hour till school starts. I’ll just wait at the spot until people get here. Maybe I’ll read more of ‘The Art of Magic’. Hey, it’s 8.30; wow, time flies when-
“OMG!!!! Like, hi Nat!!!! How was a couple of nights ago, yeah?” here comes Alisha, the loud mouth.
“It was good.” Trying to not go on that subject “Did anything exciting happen yesterday?”
“Well, Bryce yesterday totally won something for the school at sport, and he looked so totally hot. Oh my god! You haven’t really been exactly introduced to him yet! You totally need to. OMG!!! Hey BFFLS!!!!!!!” then came Liana and Hannah.
“OMG NAT!!!! Been waiting for details for, like, ever!!! Tell us now!!!” ‘DING DING DING’ “In home room, yeah?” Said Liana.

After a, very-trying-to-make-long-story-short explanation to the girls about my date, it was recess. Time to find out more about the last member of the girls ‘only wish’. “Hey Nat.” oh my god! It’s Evan. It feels like ages since I last saw him. “Hey” He went in for a hug, so I hugged him back. (duh). “Hey, Evs, that ya girlfriend?” And here comes Bryce, the sport master. In this friend group, I swear, the boys are like a pack of cards. Cedric is king, Chris is Ace, Josh is Joker and Bryce is Jack; basing off Shugo Chara and how they work out the places for the guardians…except for Ace. Chris is nothing like Yaya. “Yeah, I guess.” Did he just call me his girlfriend? Ka-ching!!!! He grabbed my hand!!!! This is too much like a Shojo anime! “So, ah, Bryce. Can you teach me how to play?” Said Hannah. She’s flirting. Trying to get one of them like how I’ve got Evan. I have Evan!! That sounds so…so…magic! “Ah, yeah sure. Do you want Alisha to join too?” I think I can read emotions. Because I just felt Hannah go from flirtatious, to ferocious. “Okay” She’s snappy. This can’t be good. After a while, Hannah wanted to go and chat with the girls, so off went Liana, Alisha and I away from the guys. Here comes hell between the two of the ‘3B’s’. “OMG Ali! You should know that Bryce is MINE!!!!! You should have refused. I wanted to try to get the ball off him, why?” Whined Hannah. I was actually feeling sorry for her. “Well he seems to like me more. So why don’t you lay off?” Okay, Alisha has a big mouth, and doesn’t know when to stop. I think Liana’s feeling scared; maybe this has never happened. “Guys!!! Can you stop fighting!?!?!?” They stopped. Like that. “Um, he’s just a guy, and you guys are, like, best friends. Don’t let him get in the way of that.”
“Yeah” chimed in Liana.
“OMG! I’m so sorry Hannah”
“And I’m sorry too!” And they hugged like nothing happened. I’m not sure about something. Did I make them stop because I’m good at stop arguments? Or was it…magic?
“Urm, guys. Can you guys do the chicken dance?” And there and then, they started to dance like chickens. “You can stop” Then they burst into laughter. I really need to learn how to control this magic, before I do something bad.

So I’m home. Homework is absolutely atrocious, yes. But I’m trying to figure something out to make homework easier with, you guessed it, magic! I know it seems like cheating, but I’m reading up to see if there’s this spell that can write in what you would of written in if I had actually sat down and done it. So, let’s see; I have a boyfriend, I have magic; my life is literally perfect. But it’ll be ‘ruined’ if the manga I ordered isn’t stocked in Minotaur this weekend. Well, only a little.



Glossary
“Cedric is king, Chris is Ace, Josh is Joker and Bryce is Jack; basing off Shugo Chara and how they work out the places for the guardians…except for Ace. Chris is nothing like Yaya.” – In shugo chara, there are 5 ‘guardians’ of the school who do all types of stuff. Bryce is Jack because one of the jacks in the series was a sport maniac. The ‘ace’ card in the series, Yaya, is the youngest; who acts like a baby.
“He grabbed my hand!!!! This is too much like a Shojo anime!” – Shojo anime or manga is a genre aimed at girls.
“But it’ll be ‘ruined’ if the manga I ordered isn’t stoked in Minotaur this weekend.” – Minotaur is a pop culture shop in the city; tis where I buy my manga too.

How much fun have we had? A lot!!!! Magic, Evan and Natalie’s first kiss (first?!?! Is there more, you ask, read further on when I post then!!!), but, alas, no Japan-crazed fans like herself. My favourite chapter so far is coming up; chapter seven. What will happen at Minotaur? Ooh!!! I can’t wait! ♥
